Soccer, one of the most popular games in the US has gripped the country for the whole year. There had been much news this year. Many of the Italian-American community players have gone back to Italy to hone their skills. The most important player being Gabe Ferrari. He is getting an exposure to learn from experienced players in Italy. The younger lot that includes players like Vincenzo Bernardo also has proceeded to Italy. Bernardo is playing inItaly with Ezequiel Lavezzi, Leo Messi and Giuseppe Rossi. Playing with the great players gives the new players a chance to learn from the best. The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is the official governing body of football. FIFA was set up in 1904 and is based in Zurich. As football has significant followers, FIFA has 208 member associations. It has taken up a gigantic mission of reaching out and changing the world by using football as a symbol.
