Franco Sarto Shoes was established in the year 1949, manufacturing shoes exclusively for women. Born in Dolo, a small town outside of Venice, Italy, Franco Sarto is the man behind the Original designs. During his teenage years, he used to work in a shoe factory, where his job was to hand last shoes with nail and hammer. Later, in his twenties, Sarto moved to Stra and started his own shoe business. Due to his style and sophistication sensibility of northern California, the San Francisco location was selected. In 2006 March,
Franco Sarto Shoes opened a store location in San Francisco's Embarcadero Center. It understands a woman’s passion for footwear. Each season, they create a style that brings joy for women, mane them look fabulous, effortlessly and keep them comfortable.
